|
|
Got a used Kronos X, it was here for a month and when I pressed the last key to the right I realized it doesn't come back up after I press it.
I don't use it that much, but is there an easy way to fix it?
tks in advance |

Likely an easy fix (often a stuck part, unglued felt, etc.) but you have to feel at ease with opening your unit and possibly remove the whole action to see what is happening, etc. |

If this is an 88 or 73, the front rail can interfere with the movement of the keys causing some to stick. Flip the Kronos on its side with (the input/output jacks should be on the floor). Loosen the largest bolts. There are seven on the Kronos 73, I believe. Loosen them just enough so that they're free but don't take them out. After all have been loosened, re-tighten them. Gravity should shift the action back away from the front rail. This simple procedure has worked for me on several occasions.
