My TRITON EXTREME 88 Screen alignment was Way off. Very tough to do anything if this is out of alignment.

I tried the alignment procedure, however the lower right box did not light up when touched.

After searching everywhere I found the solution.

The calendar battery was low, but not reported by the Triton.

Power the unit off. Replace the battery by pushing it toward the rear battery slot, spring loaded. Replace with a new CR2032 battery. Power on.

Screen in PERFECT alignment.

Hope this helps.

Cool

Identical problem!

The cr2032 battery was a factor. I was kust about to order a new digitizer acreen when I came across your post.
Installed a new battery and it calibrates easily in global with the back up battery remembering the set alignment.

Thanks

PS where ( site or forum ) did you discover this.

Troubleshooting. I could not find this anywhere. Process of elimination.

My next step would be to flash the OS. I do this on touch screen equipment I service every day.

Use a good quality battery, change it every 2 years.

The Tex OS does not display voltage. When it goes below a threshold the error message will flas on boot.

I will replace all after 24 months with new @ 3.6V!

Thank you.
