I have a cable going from the trigger out on my moog DFAM to the sync in on the Volca beats, but it plays back at twice the speed, same if i trigger it from the Korg SQ1 - anyone know why or how to get it to run at normal speed?
Thanks |

Not sure about the DFAM, but if the Beats is playing twice as fast as the SQ-1 then what it actually means is that the SQ-1 may be set to 8th note steps and is playing half as slow compared to the Beats (check the SQ-1 manual).
When it comes to sync the Volcas to non-Korg gear, I usually have to send 8th note pulses into the Volca's Sync In for them to play in sync. |

I haven't used the Beatstep Pro, but if it's anything like the Keystep, you have to connect it to the computer to set up the analog sync appropriately (gate vs. clock mode and how many ppq). In the Keystep there is an option for Korg-style sync. |
