I have a 2014 88 that has worked like a charm ever since today. I usually leave it on so it was quite odd when I sat down at it this morning and...

NONE of the A, F, or C# keys made any sound. All the other keys worked fine except EVERY SINGLE A, F, and C#, anywhere on the keyboard.

So I did the reset (twice), turned it on and off (several times), and even did the 'turn the keyboard upside down and shake it' trick, all to no avail.

It was like that for about 40 minutes and then magically, they all worked again. I hadn't 'done' anything.

Then, poof! 20 minutes later, same thing: A, F, and C#, all dead, everywhere.

It was plugged into my mac so I made an augmented chord sequence that played all four augmented chords including the dead notes and they all sound, so it's not the sound card/synth that is broken.

I unplugged the USB cable thinking that might have set something 'off' internally, but rebooting it without the USB cable inserted didn't help.

I had the current firmware (3.1) but decided to load it again just in case (Mac OS). Nope. Same thing.

Any ideas? Thanks in Advance.
