I am trying to get familiar with step recording. In the owner's manual it states
"Access the P0: Play/REC– Play Loop T01–08 page, check Track Play Loop for track 02, set Loop Start Measure to 001, and Loop End Measure to 002. track 02 will play measures 1–2 repeatedly."
Instead of stoping after the 2nd measure and looping, the measures just keep going. I am on the correct track, as it records, and I put start at measure 1 and end at measure 2. What am I doing wrong?
Question 2: How do I get the velocity of each note....a high hat in this example to be the same velocity with no variation.
Question 3: If the note is slightly off time how do I move the note to be on time. On the Triton Classic I could go in and adjust the numbers and fix it. How do I accomplish this on the Krome.
Thanks,
Jon |

I'm not in front of my Krome right now, but from memory ...
1) I don't use this feature, so I can't help you.
2) If you open the pianoroll view of the track, you'll see the velocity (by default, it can display other parameters) track data as well.
3) There's a quantise function that can do it automatically over a designated series of notes and/or measures, and it can be as heavy-handed (or not) as you want. |
