|
|
Sometimes, during playing with accompaniment, i would like to take a break, play something without the accompaniment , then turn it back on.
The only way i found to do this, requires 3 pushes of buttons:
once on the start/stop (arrow/square), plus 2 clicks on the synchro start/stop.
that is way to much and takes too long. I can't believe there is no single button to stop the accompaniment.
are you facing this issue? is it different on the pa700 ?
thanks. |

Hi - depends how long you want to break I suppose.
i just use count in/break button for the odd bars, but for a full passage i switch off perc. and other parts buttons. this is handy I find, as it still leaves drum and bass ON which helps with timing, but you could also take one or both of these out if you wish.
You can also save these to set list i imagine, so you would then only need to press one button on the fly.
i am not that informed.....but hope it helps

This is actually a very good tip, to use the part mute section. i can shut the whole thing up with 3 fingers (drum, perc, bass), or selectively as you said, just the perc and drums, and keep the drums on for good timing. "other parts" are off in most of my presets anyways. So thanks for that!
But Korg people, if you ever read this, in future versions, please give us one button to turn accomp on and off. |

Well, thats why the keyboard is such a low price.....more function = more cost
Get round this simply by saving the settings you have in 'off' mode to another set list button.....sorted. |
