Hello community,
I hope someone can help me.
My korg pa50 have no sound, the key lighting is out and the display shows no content. The display backlight is on.
I replaced lots of capacitors on the power supply but no luck.
How can i fix this problem?
Please help me.
Best regards |

The shot gun approach is a surefire way to make things harder to resolve. You may cause more problems.
Assuming you have a DMM (MultiMeter) of some sort check you have voltage at the power supply input. Check for voltage at the Plugpak/wall Wart output.
Those on board DC power sockets are highly prone to cracking the solder on the terminals as they rely ONLY on the solder to mount them. I've fixed many dead keyboards because of this common design flaw.
Every time you plug in the solder on those little sockets gets stressed and the solder eventually cracks.
Look in strong light,, you may even need a magnifying glass to see the hairline cracks.
I would be checking that first.
