|
|
I'm sending MIDI clock from Logic Pro X to my Monologue via USB. I also have a MIDI cable going from the Monologue's MIDI OUT to my TR-8's MIDI IN.
When I press PLAY on the Monologue sequencer the TR-8 starts playing in sync. All well and good.
However, when I trigger the Monologue sequencer by pressing PLAY on Logic, the Monologue plays, but the TR-8 does not.
Is there a way to have BOTH the Monologue and the TR-8 play in sync when I press PLAY in Logic, or do I have to send a separate MIDI clock to the TR-8 from my computer? Really hoping to avoid the latter.
Thank you! |

I think the problem is that USB sends info to Monologue only. Im not shure if USB can be MIDI through. Try to connect TR8 to mac also. _________________ Gear: roland Juno-G, korg x5dr, Monologue, e-mu 0404

Thank you for your response! Connecting the TR-8 directly to my computer would definitely solve the problem, but I was hoping for a more efficient solution. Is there no way for the Monologue to send clock to the TR-8? |

Actually, both the Monologue and TR-8 play in sync if I press PLAY in Logic at the START of the song. If I press PLAY in Logic at any point after the start, only the Monologue plays (the TR-8 doesn't play at all). Any idea how to fix this? |
