I am sure this is very elementary, but please help me to grasp this concept. When in combi mode, the 8 mix volume sliders control the volume of the selected program. Is this done via a cc#, sysex, etc. and can this volume assignment be changed to some other parameter; like panning? I cannot find this anywhere in the combi setup, global settings, etc.
When using my Kurzweil PC88 to control my Kronos 61 via standard midi, the 16 sound buttons the Kurzweil automatically & correctly selects the 0-15 Kronos setlist slots. I can select 'next group' on the Kurzweil and the Kronos changes to the next setlist page. Are these midi changes being sent via standard cc number, standard sysex, or what?
I ask to get a better understanding of how this setup works. This may also help me in setting up the four sliders on the Kurzweil to control the volumes of the selected combi's program volumes. |

The sliders are assigned CC#, so should be controllable, and the CC# allocations can be changed, to suit.
