Hi Johnnie - what a nightmare!!!!
You should consider referring them to this forum topic.
It is clearly a manufacturing fault/weakness.
You have a decent supplier - hopefully all will be good.
Let us know your progress.

Hi Pete The supplier is BONNERS MUSIC Eastbourne UK a really caring customer orientated shop/company who have already informed me this morning that my 4X is on route to Korg UK. I already sent Bonners a splash of Sam's picture and the link to this thread. Johnnie _________________ Negativity is a disease of the brain. Positivity is owning a PA4X |

I have dealt with Bonners for many years and can say quite honestly that they have always been very very helpful.
I would not go anywhere else.
Regards

I have been told on Friday by Bonners that my 4X is en-route to me from Korg.
Apparently Korg UK have sent a report to Korg Italy after replacing the screen mechanism. That is about all I know at the moment but I will keep you posted.I haven't had any personal contact with Korg UK over this as Bonners have dealt with this on my behalf. _________________ Negativity is a disease of the brain. Paolo please notify your service centres not to assume the screen was damaged by the owner/operator as it was me in the first instance but consider it is a fault in the manufacture of the product and should be covered by warranty. My 4X had to be returned back to Korg UK twice because of this assumption. Johnnie _________________ Negativity is a disease of the brain. Positivity is owning a PA4X |

Hi Paolo.
Pls tell me what about users who do not have guaranty and (good) service in country for keyboards. My screen also doesn't lock.
Is it possible to find some manual for self repair.
Thx. _________________ Korg X3

As this now seems to be a manufacturing problem Korg should repair your 4x as it is a component failure and seems to be a widespread problem. Lets say like a factory recall _________________ Negativity is a disease of the brain. Positivity is owning a PA4X |

Hi, at the moment the only thing I can tell is to refer to an authorized service center. There are no instructions for self repair available. The issue is still under observation.
