I'm gonna give this a bump because I'm also curious.

A couple of us have used the Seaboard RISE and written about it in the "Latest News" section of the forum:

I got my seaboard, I still haven't had any chance to test it with my kronos (my kronos is in the studio). Tomorrow I will check how it works Smile

In the meanwhile I recorded a short video just testing the seaboard....it's a spectacular piece of equipment, it's very expressive.

I don't have the Seaboard but I do have the Linnstrument which is similar and it's a blast to use. It's also quite easy to setup and use.

@metallo: how long did you practice that before you recorded the clip?

@ McHale, I've always been fascinated by the Linnstrument, sooner or later I will get one Smile

@tomto66: not too long, I have my seaboard since 3 days ago. It's quite intuitive and easy to learn.

I still haven't had a chance to try the Seaboard with the Kronos but I really can't wait and discover the thousands of possibilities using the sounds of the kronos with the expressivity of this board.

This is a short second test I made with it using 2 of the presets....I think it's just an awesome instrument with equator and noise for iphone being top quality sounds apps.

I still haven't tried it with the Kronos yet. I thought, seemingly incorrectly, that it would be easier to learn to connect it to a small mono device first. I have been working with the Minitaur. Sadly what I have had occur if in midi mode I can set the three faders to what I want done but the key waves just act like keys none of the wiggle jiggle slide etc has worked. I need to hit the manual again to verify if this is how it should be. Faders and x/y pad work well.

What I'm planning to do is just to monitor the midi messages coming from the seaboard and mapping them on the kronos Smile
