I read where this is possible? I have an Oasys and thinking of replacing it with new Kronos-2, but don't want to loose all my Oasys songs or Combis that I've created over the years. Is it easy to just load my Oasys songs, programs & combis into the kronos without a lot of trouble? Most of my songs haven't been saved under "save all", so should I re-save the as "save all" first? Thanks for any input! _________________ HP

Aa far as I understand you'll be able to load your entire PCG in one go. The downside being that you'll be replacing all the Kronos 2 factory sounds. SNG files I'm not sure about, perhaps another Oasys/Kronos owner could elaborate. They tend to be more model specific.
If you would like to combine programs and combis from both models, you could load individual sounds or banks from the Oasys PCG. Obviously this means reorganizing a lot of combis. You could also load the entire Oasys PCG, then save it (so that it becomes a Kronos 2 PCG), then open both the Kronos 2 factory PCG and the resaved Oasys PCG with Michel Keizer's PCGTools to more easily create a combined file that retains combi/program references.
You can load the Oasys sounds into Kronos. Nevertheless you will have to do lots of manual tweaking, cause the Prg or Waveform locations don´t match...
I had the same problem and decided that reprogramming the Combis´s is less work.
