OK we have the new firmware, OS and editor.
To use the editor I assume I have to use the dedicated MIDI ports of the Kronos?...it doesn't give the USB MIDI connection as an option to connect.
Just like to check before going out and buying a couple of MIDI leads! |

No need of midicabels; just USB works fine here. Did you install korg mididrivers? _________________ Best regards, Robert

The editor is working fine over USB. You can download the latest USB-MIDI driver from the support section on the Korg website. |

I've loaded the latest usb driver, editor and OS 3.3 and the editor won't connect on my win7 64 system, it scans all the midi ports including a usb/midi box but it doesn't scan the usb ports. The usb driver lists both my k49 and the kronos but the editor and sonar doesn't. Also now sonar doesn't list my k49 either and I'm getting system blue screen crashes. I've uninstalled the usb driver and reinstalled the older driver and sonar still can't connect to the k49 anymore |

I would try a test with MIDI-OX and see if it recognizes the Kronos. Reboot first and run it with nothing else running. If you can't get past the BSOD you may want to try rolling back to a system restore point. |
