Hi all,
Thanks, I'm happy that they are useful
@ AdDeRoo: correct, keep original size when printing.
And thick photo paper works best. _________________ Cheers,

Something completely different
While working with the PolysixEX and MS-20EX, I like to turn real knobs to change the settings of the VCO, VCF, EG, etc.
However, as a beginner I can never remember what is what.
Therefore, I've created the MS-20EX Tone Adjust Tool and the PolysixEX Tone Adjust Tool.
Now you can listen to the sound you create and turn real knobs!
Instructions are in the document at:
http://www.dfsxpertsys.com/kronos/MS-20EX_PolysixEX_ToneAdjustTool.zip
I hope you can use it. |
Thank you very much some very good information greatly appreciated. _________________ Ohmnisphere

I am not a "printer" or cut things out kind of guy. But for me, just having these up on screen is super useful. It just ties the knobs to the functions in my mind. |

Okay, that's also useful ... let's see ... what if I give you a picture of the 'tool' on the Kronos. Maybe that works even better for you
No need to cut the round circles. Did that for you

Hi all,
2 years later... I discovered Kris' tools and I would like to thank him for this great idea, so I decided to help him completing the collection
I took time yesterday to create similar tools for... all the other engines
For now, I'm verifying all the tools, and trying to find a way to share the ZIP file.
Stay tune...

I agree; a fun and useful idea!
While it's not as direct as labels on the knobs, note that you can also go to the Control Surface page to see the current Tone Adjust assignments. _________________ Dan Phillips

Hi all,
All the 9 engines Tone Adjust tools are available
Note : I did a version 2 for MS20-EX because I discovered that others switches are used by default. No change for Polysix tool but same look for all the tools.
I hope the link below is correct

Many thanks to Kris for sharing his original files that help me a lot to create the others
I wish it will help many Kronos users
Cheers

Hi Chris,
Great job!
I’m honoured that you’ve spent the effort to finish all the engines.
Thanks for updating the MS-20. I will use it to finish the Filter EG and Patch Panel tutorial.
I will use the tools for sure and have no excuse now to finish the AL-1 tutorial
Cheers,
