NDA is a good reason not to reply. Being that I have MidiQuest Pro 11 which has the deluxe version of the Kronos editor I am certainly as anxious to see the update as anyone but I certainly do not want anyone to violate an NDA by responding |

thats true. If the NDA is restrictive about ' pre- anonouncements, ' the employee can or will get fired.
Same with a contracting 3rd party, if they inadvertently say something that is restricted by the NDA, they can end up with a contract cancellation or possibly worse. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

As you know what is happening with the new Kronos and its New Editor, by the way is there any point to our discussion on this forum or is it just a waste of time I would like to know does Korg read this forum if so I request Korg to take notice of this and act upon solving the whole Editor problem so we can get back to enjoying creating our music without hassle!
I have also mailed Korg UK but I am still waiting for reply! _________________ Windows 10pro/64 bit, Korg pa3x, Roland MC808. |

i think this is an exception. a reasonable person sees that Korg employees are very helpful.
what people are asking for is something that is likely connected to an NDA is discussed above. Does anyone want a Korg employee to risk his job ? of course not.
we might as well be asking for the exact plans of the next great workstation.
the new editor will happen when it happens. it has not been forgotten. its not a case of ' doing nothing '. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

I take your point Greg, but at the same time, you'd think Korg would have released the Kronos 2 and its editor at the same time, wouldn't you? It's not like the Kronos 2 was advertised as "editor to follow"!
As much as I love the firm, sometimes it feels like Korg could not organise a piss up in a brewery! _________________

we don't know the issues, we never will on some things. which is why I don't want to try ' make up stuff'. I have zen when things are beyond my control.
I also look at everything as a ' sum '. Sometimes there are a few things/parts I am not pleased with.
Some may decide to amplify that ' poor part' and pound on it. But if I am happy with the ' sum of all the parts' that is better use of my time and energy. Some might call it big picture vs little picture.
after 4 yrs(Kronos), 10 yrs( triton), 15 yrs( before Triton) of Korg ownership, I have noticed that Korg finds a way to come around. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

Well, for me, the more complex a synth, the more useful a full editor.
I guess I'll offer Korg some reading this Xmas.
