So lately I've been playing with a lot of analog synths (OB8/X, Jupiter 6/8, Prophet 10) at my shop and I have come to the determination that there are just certain inconsistencies that are beautiful that gets lost with digital recreations that allow you to play more than the original polyphony among other things. Whats great about the kronos is that you can limit the voices... this is something I'm choosing to do with the polysix engine and AL1 when I'm trying to do an A/B. The problem I'm running into now is programming inconsistencies in tuning/filter per voice. I would like to limit say, a polysix patch, to 6 voices, and voice 2 will always have a slightly more open filter, etc. This could be easily done with the step sequencer if there was a step by note number parameter... am i missing something here?

Thanks

Right, something like ModMappers in Zebra 2 softsynth would come very much in handy for stuff like that!
