Hi all.
I've started planning out my drawings and measurements to build something, and I have a problem getting the information I need to complete one part.

I need to include a motorised circular table into my build that will rotate 360 degrees. On this table I will place objects to photograph. I need this table to rotate for X number of seconds, then stop for X number of seconds. I need it to keep doing this until the table has completed a full rotation of 360 degrees.

So my questions are, what kind of timer do I need that can do that, and also what kind of motor would I need to buy?

Regards
Sharp.

Do not under estimate the power of rodents: hamsters, gerbils ect. when combined with Pavlovs studies they can be a force for good. You know what I mean? Put the hamster food in front of them to get them to walk on the wheel to turn the gear that makes your table move. Timing would be the only problem.

lol.... Good idea.
I could send a small electrical charge into the hamster wheel to trigger moment when needed.

I have the Motor part to all this sorted now thankfully. It will do a single 360 revolution in 90 seconds, so all I'm looking for now is the Timer to start and stop it.

This timer HERE seems to do that, but I also need to open and close a circuit on a universal TV remote control I plan on hacking into my deign, which I don't think that timer will do.

So, I think I need some sort of relay to add into all this that when the timer cuts the power to the motor, a relay pulses the circuit closing (simulating a button press) and opens again. It also has to delay by half a second from when the power cuts before it sends this pulse.

There's going to be a lot to this build I think.

Regards
Sharp.

Updated my website now to display the final versions of my 360 Objects.

I had to make some changes to the lighting in the box to make the entire background look completely white, but it's all working now.
