My focus this year is more on mixing and production instead of composition.
This is a mix based on this article: http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/dec09/articles/mixrescue_1209.htm
here is the song: http://soundcloud.com/wolf-ray/altrockmixedd-1
I suggest downloading the song and looping it in iTunes since it's only a few bars long.
SPEAKING of iTunes... I always wondered why my exports never sound the same in there as they do in the project. Turns out iTunes has this bogus option enabled by default called "Sound Enhancer" in the settings under the 'playback' tab. I suggest turning it off as all it seems to be is an odd EQ/limiter thing. _________________ paypal.me/CharlesFerraro |

hi,
read the article on the mix and your contribution..
it sounds just great
but since I m new here, can you explain to me
how ths fits into a song?
do you fit it into your own composition,
or do you release it to others as they see fit?
sorry if I ask a dumb question...not sure yet about the concept of 'song'.
best regards

I'm pretty new to creating music, and my knowledge of mixing etc is very limited - I can tell this sounds good though. You can hear each instrument clearly - will have to have a read of the article. |
