Awhile back in this thread:
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=86742&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
There was talk of a PCG editor for mac and also a way to get patch names from the Kronos to Logic Pro.
Somewhere in that thread I posted a link to a utility I had written that did the patch name work. The problem with that utility was that it needed a tedious step of outputting an xml file from the Kronos editor software first. So, I went back and revamped and created a new utility PCGed. That same functionality is built-in, but now it reads a .pcg file directly.
In the process of creating this I thought of a bunch of other things I would like it to do. I realized some of those things could be useful to others (ie PC Users) so, I also made it cross platform. There are a lot of things working for me, but not really ready for "prime time", but I made a follow up video to show the changes from the old utility and thought there is enough other funtionality showing that it might make an interesting sneak peek for others. Hope you find it interesting:

Sorry no link. Glad it looked useful, that is a fraction of can/will do. _________________ My mostly Kronos videos:

Very nice to see software being created and being shared. _________________

Since my Triton days I have seen messages from mac users saying "me too please" so I am trying to address that. _________________ My mostly Kronos videos:

I have uploaded a new video showing how the Set List Editor is working.
I am really trying to make it easy and quick so that it can be used in lots of situations. If you are interested, here is the link:
http://youtu.be/rzaQO5vFbOY
Note: The PCG editors that I am aware of all had an issue of not writing setlist information into the file in a way the Kronos OS could read it. That was a real problem for my workflow so I actually started from that perspective. I let Michel at PCGTools know this and he tells me he has fixed it and will release that soon, so that is great news for people who use that tool.
I talked about this in the video, and got word from Michel just in time for me to put a note on there about the fix, so hopefully there is no confusion on that point. _________________ My mostly Kronos videos:

Thanks Ed! I can't wait. PCG tools is now really the only reason I have to fire up windows anymore. I'm anxious to have a mac-only workflow. _________________ Kronos 88, Moog, Yamaha EX-5, Prophet 6, Prophet 12, Prophet X, MatrixBrute, Roland JX-3P, Behringer DeepMind 12, Logic Pro X |

I'm also glad somebody addresses the Mac . I don't know if the functionality will be equal (probably not but that might also be an advantage) ... Use the best of both worlds if possible. _________________

Would love to have this on the mac hopefully soon! I like PCG tools but it's the only reason I have boot camp on my old Macbook. |

At this point the functionality is basically equal, except I am using some different techniques for the editing such as drag&drop. _________________ My mostly Kronos videos:

I have to say it is super convenient to be able to edit the files native and not be forced to run some emulation. It has increased my workflow by a lot. _________________ My mostly Kronos videos:
