Volca Beats does not respond to MIDI notes. MIDI RX ShortMessage is on (default.) Cable is plugged into MIDI IN, power is on, Beats display reads Live.
MIDI play message from Ableton or MPK49 start the Volca Beats playing.
Volca Bass and Volca Keys MIDI IN notes work and all the OTHER Volca Beats features work.
Volca Beats MIDI notes didn't work with firmware V1.00 and still don't work with V1.02.
Tried MIDI to Volca Beats from MPK49, Korg EMX, microKORG, and Ableton Live.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.[/u]

Not assuming you have overlooked this, but just in case...

Are you in the correct octave on the MIDI keyboard?

Thanks. I've sent the notes it responds to 36: KICK, 38: SNARE, 43: LO TOM, 50: HI TOM, 42: CL HAT, 46: OP HAT, 39: CLAP.
Just in case, I also sent it every other MIDI note.

OH MAN THAT WORKED! IT WAS SET TO CHANNEL 10!
I thought I had tried every note on every channel.
Thank you so much!

Hi, I seem to having the same issue. I've checked all midi channels both in my DAW & the beats - both are set correctly.

I'm using Logic Pro X & have yet to test on another DAW.

Help!!
