|
|
i admit, i'm really confused. when loading regular SMFs into the mS, and then initializing GM, i find that it sounds very screwed up. most of the SMF files have drums on MIDI channel 10 and bass on MIDI channel 2 (which is what my DR-880 does). do these channels correspond to the MIDI tracks in the mS sequencer? what i'm really asking is, do i have to change the MIDI channels to correspond to the song template's track assignment, e.g. Drums on sequencer channel 1, bass on seq. channel 2, etc. ??? _________________ MJ Klein
