i think i read somewhere that you can assign a differnt midi channel for each VCO.
if this is the case, with the 8 inbuilt memory sequences, could i save up to 24 different vco settings for use as sounds (up to 3 at a time) as a slave module (from emx-1)?
my only wish is that these things we're $30 more expensive with more memory capabilty
definately wanna get one tho.
also, would the above question be the same for the keys/beats?
(experienced techno maker, but never been great with doing things on the fly, hence the question)
thanks. |

Knob settings don't get saved on any of the units, only note data and selections made on the lower key buttons do. Honestly, of the three units, the Bass is the most limited for creating sounds. I have them all and the Bass literally only gets used for bass, haha. Even for mono lead sounds, I like the Keys is better since it has portamento and that delay effect. _________________ Roland Juno-60, SH-101, TR-606, MC-505, Casio CZ-101, Yamaha DX100, DX11, Kawai R-50e // Korg R3, microSTATION, Monotribe, MS-20 Mini, SQ-1, minilogue, electribe sampler, Volca series: Bass, Keys, Beats, Sample, FM, Kick, Moog Theremin |
