hi everybody!
i have think about to buy a korg kross!
but i have also made some ideas about the future update for this produkt.
and there are some questions about the kross.
and i hope korg would do this in the future update!

it would be grate when korg make in the future:

-sample option,to load and save samples to the sd card,
or record from the loop recorder,to save it to sd card, and edit it in the sample editor!when it`s possible to load and save it or when it`s possible
to load in or up to 128mb samples to split or layering or edit this as a program, include as slicing and arrenge it in the drum track or sequenzer!

it`s only a idea!

cheers

That's an awful lot to put into a $699 keyboard that's already designed and manufactured, rayd. I think they crammed about as many things as they could into it already, to get it to us at that price, size and weight...
But ya never know...we'll see!! Smile

i think,it must be possible because, when already the audio loop recorder
store an save the audio recorded matrial to the sd card,
korg only have to write the future update for the kross, with a sample option,
i don`t not know really how it is by the kross,is there any place to write this
update with sample option to the rom/flash!
and the samples to the sd card, samples may only saved how great the sd card is,the same who it is now,2gb-32gb!

you know what I would really like? If the sound-on-sound audio recorder saved each pass as a separate .wav! Right now, my understanding is, you'll have track A separate, then track A+B separate, then track A+B+C separate, etc. - so if you wanted to take that to a multitrack, you wouldn't be able to put tracks B or C on their own track. I wonder if that could be done with some kind of copy-while-recording feature update.

yes that would be a cool featuer for the audio loop recorder!
but it works only for the kross selfs, because with another external
sequenzer such as ableton or cubase, suports only a stereo out!
that means that works only for the kross!
what i`m think to do with the kross,in the future is:
use the vst plugin editor with ableton, record some stuff via midi from the
kross, and the special audio parts from what i have done i would render
as audio, and also the midi, and load up to the kross!
that means the audio would be play as a whole song(multitrack rendering in ableton and load up into the audio recorder from kross)in the recorder parallel to the midi sequnencing from kross!
i think thats what korg would done and explain in there product overview
from kross!
but i wouldn`t use the audio recorder to record my voice, only to record
external gear or load up self made loops from athor software sequncers!

technically you might be able to do this by subtracting track (A) from track (A+B)

My gosh, how can I try that? What a cool idea. By reversing the phase on Track A, and then merge-mixing the resulting file with A+B? thanks Idea
