Hi Gorilla,
please use this download link:
http://www.korgpa.com/pa_root/software/history/os/pa1x/Pa1X_os_v301_MAC.zip
Unzip - then you have the content of each disc you can COPY directly to the disc and you nnedn´t to do the workaround with doubleclick and decompress the *.exe files.
On disc 1 you need the files:
FDBOOT.SYS
PA1X_1.BIN
On disc 2 you need:
PA1X_2.BIN
and so on.
Hope that helps.
Good luck

Hello Wittid, are you referring to the Resource disk or OS? Thanks for chiming in mate. I have already opened and placed the OS 3.01 on 4 disc. It's the #3 exe of the (6) Resorce disk that is causing my upset. It appears there is not enough room on the 1.44m disk.
Pete gave me a work around, of which I have not tried yet. I'm going to see the result when I settle down in an hour. I will inform you and he of my outcome. Thanks mate. 👊😎 _________________ AJ Johnson ( Gorilla )

Hi Gorilla,
sorry the picture was very small .
What is the reason you put the resource on the discs?
I prefer that you download the resources - unzip and transfer via USB to the keyboard - it´s very easy and you´ve no troubles with the discs.
The download link is:
http://www.korgpa.com/pa_root/software/history/preload/pa1x/Pa1X_res_v300_hd.zip
Good luck

Wittid, I thought the 3.0 resource disk were necessary. I've backup my personal files onto disk and CD. Are you suggesting that it is not necessary to install or copy the resource files and that the 3.01 disk are all that I need? 😳 _________________ AJ Johnson ( Gorilla )

Hi Gorilla,
i postet the link to the resource file last.
First you´ve to install the OS and then the related resources BUT there are 2 ways of installing the resources - via floppy discs or from harddisc - i prefer second choice - that´s the link i posted last.
If you´ve installed the OS download the resource - unzip - transfer via USB to the harddisc of your key and then restore there.
After that - reboot.
Then you can load the saved things you need - songbook, styles, performances...
