Specifically, will I be able to sync my Microsampler and the Volca Bass?

You'll be able to sync the Volcas to the microSAMPLER, but not vice versa out of the box. The Volcas only have MIDI IN port, but an article mentions that the Volcas can be modified to add MIDI OUT as well. My guess was that there is little room for both ports on the casing, they left out the least the important one.
