hello,
sorry for my english !!
I bought a pa1x pro, and tried to load the 3.01 os, instead of the 2.0 that was in the keyboard. I think I made a mistake, because now, it doesn't boot anymore.
it stops on the page where it's written : loading factrory resources.
I think I've load the new factory ressources for the 3.01 os, instead of loading the new os. And now it doesn't work anymore. I've no control on it, even pressing the intro 1 button. I cannot load the new os anymore, I cannot see its HD on the pc.
please, help me.
thanks

You should be able to load the OS from diskettes.
Follow these instructions:-
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=56547
Take particular note of pressing the INTRO 1 button instead of "OK" for the first diskette
Cheers

Thank you for answering,
I cannot communicate with my pa1x pro. no way to read the diskettes.
Is there a way to force loading os with diskettes, because when I turn the pa1x pro on, nothing happends, only the first page where it's written "loading factory ressources".
I understand that I have to load the new os, but no way to do it.
I don't know what to do now.
thanks for helping me

That is the problem
You have to "run" those "exe" files on your PC to create the diskettes - DO NOT copy the files to the diskettes.
If you follow the instructions line by line I referenced above (http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=56547), it will work:-
Quote: | Prepare 4 blank diskettes
ON YOUR PC.....
Insert first diskette and double click Pa1X_os_v301_Dsk1.exe
...this will build diskette 1
Remove the diskette when finished and label it "OS3.01 Disk #1"
Insert second diskette and double click Pa1X_os_v301_Dsk2.exe
...this will build diskette 2
Remove the diskette when finished and label it "OS3.01 Disk #2"
Insert third diskette and double click Pa1X_os_v301_Dsk3.exe
...this will build diskette 3
Remove the diskette when finished and label it "OS3.01 Disk #3"
Insert fourth diskette and double click Pa1X_os_v301_Dsk4.exe
...this will build diskette 4
Remove the diskette when finished and label it "OS3.01 Disk #4"
These four diskettes will be used to build your OS 3.01 |
Cheers

If OS is installed and you restore the resources - don´t forget to calibrate your display. |

Pete, it´s good to have you back here
Might be an Idea you add the description of the content of the 4 discs to the threat you linked to - i think then it´s absolutely misunderstandable. |
