http://www.native-instruments.com/en/specials/a-revolution-is-coming/?content=2391

Reaktor 6 like synth wich will be also as a host for FM9,Massive 2, Kontak6 with best possible high end DSP technology?!! Very Happy

If it is true it will be a dream for sound designers Smile

Nothing comes close, even Kurzweil VAST because of their low intellegence top people in the company do not know how to guide the company and how to creat the best possible products unfortionaly

Nice, NI do some really fantastic work for sure.

When I hear the name Kurzweil these days the first thing that pops into my mind is "tired and old". A great company in the day, but that was a long time ago.

VAST was once unique. Now days there's far more interesting and diverse options with specifications far superior in every way.

Regards
Sharp.

I saw the retail box on a site for komplete 9 a couple of weeks ago before it was rapidly pulled.

Komplete 8 is on sale, so wouldn't be surprised if it was soon.

Someone said a store told him April but that's the only time I've seen a date mentioned.

I saw this few weeks ago...that MP3 Demo...as owner of an ARP 2600 and
also an MS20, both original, i can say that i have never heard anything
closer to Analog then this, it leave Kronos or any other synth in the mud.

I'm impressed, but far from overwhelmed.

Much too much typical NI hype, for the next step in closing the gap between analog and digital while adding a high degree of functionality - like Zebra and DIVA already did. Concerning the sound from the soundcloud examples, I even prefer OPXIIPro with it's analog warmth.

Since Kontakt and Komplete times, the indeed excellent NI products are always welcomed, like they would cover the whole area of today's sound. But they are just an important part of it - not more and not less.

Year, i totaly agree with u. VAST was very amazing and unique thing in the old days and i really liked it in the past, but unfortionaly with stupidity of the current Kurzweil top people, they just destroyed it by leading the comany in to the wrong direction for many years until present and it seems they still continue doing that. Yes, I am pretty shure Kurzweil is working on a new VAST right now, but will it be better then Reaktor? No i do not think so, because there are many reasons why i think so, but i can mention even one: even if they developed cuting age DSP technology, it won't run on their hardware because it is very weak. U need something like Intel E5 Xeons prossesors yo be able to handl that power demand, but unfortionaly at Kurzweil they ignore this. Sad

On NI forums today someone said they are unable to find stock of Komplete Ultimate 8 (also listed as sold out on NI's site).

That with the fact the advertised sale of Komplete 8 on NIs site states it ends on March 26 and says "Only While Stocks Last"

April could well be an exciting time

I think it would be cool if in Reaktor u could put modules based on Analog circuite, i think this might be the case here. And this must be coming in a new version, soon. Because right now u have only digital things, i am not against
digital things, because they have their own unique uses but it will be a very welcome addoition if they add high end analog modeled circuite.

Hopefuly it is true!!!

Chilly, have you ever tried building macros with Core? You can already do great analogue emulations. It may be a pain to learn, but the results can be pretty hard to beat. I finaly ditched my Nord G2 because of it.

Interesting to see what NI have up their sleeves though.
