Hi all, new MS user here. I am getting a kick out of my new board but have a question about deleting programs that I don't want. I got some extra prog's with my MS, I like some sounds a lot, but others not so much. I've read in the parameters guide that you could delete programs but I can never call up a delete command.

Is there something I'm missing? I've even tried the editor route but no joy.

Thanks,

ToneM

you just have to initialize the program, (you'll get a super dry piano) and then you save that in the same place.
i would STRONGLY advise against this - unless of course, you need the space, but i think the MS has enough user storage (although badly organized).
deleting programs will render any COMBIS that use those PRGs useless, and chaotic... sometimes with unpredictable results.
better keep the PRGS and make a new library of the ones you DO like under USER.

Thank you John for your reply. I will take your advice and leave well enough alone.

John is right.
I accidently replaced the 1st sound of the mS (LR Piano) with a saw lead.
All the timbers in the combis using the LR piano were replaced by the saw lead.
be carefull

Raffi, I am definitely heeding John's advice. BTW, what does the L/R in the L/R Piano stand for?
