Help Please!
I'm trying to set up an M-Audio EX-P expression pedal as a volume pedal in the pedal 2 jack.
I've plugged it in and calibrated it but it has no effect. (I've tried both polarity settings too)
Do I need to set a midi parameter or something?
Is it not compatible?
What expression pedal should I use?
It'd be very handy for some of the organ parts I'm playing....
Thanks!
Gordo

Hey,

Shame to hear that the pedal doesn't work! I imagine it can be pretty frustrating. Anyways, mine worked perfectly; no MIDI-settings needed or anything. I'm using a Yamaha FC7. I don't know if it's a good pedal or not, since it's the first time I actually bought an expression pedal. But it has a very, very good grip, and it works smoothly. Only had to calibrate it once, and that was it. For me, it works great for the wah-effects. If you can, try it out at a music store near you, just so you know for sure you like the feel of the thing.

Good luck!

Behringer Fvc100 works without fuss. But I don't like it's sweep.

hmm, I thought the same thing as well (M-Audio expression pedal). It did slightly work on the wah (and does on the volume). I thought there was a calibration mode on the SV-1 but haven't bothered digging into yet until my other gear is sold and I can feel unguilty about my purchase hehehe.

Update on this- I ran Mainstage and saw that this pedal doesn't go all the way down. It like about 40%- 100%- and the knob on the side brings the floor up and not down. Not sure if this is normal but definately not useable as a volume pedal to cut of the volume completely
