Seeing as I bang on about orchestral sequencing all the time, I thought I would share some excerpts I have done for Verdi's 'Macbeth'. I have used the standard sounds, plus Sonatina Strings and Sharp's excellent Orchestra Soundset.
As I still have a year to go to finish them, they are not complete (still got stuff like panning to do) but it gives a good indication of the power of this beast, orchestrally (and with the limited sequencer it has)
Let me know your thoughts.

Great work. We sure have come a long way from Wendy Carlos.
I remember hearing a Yamaha dx7 strings demo and thinking -wow!! In 1983
Now you hear this kind of thing and it's really incredible.
Having the sounds is one thing, but you still have to be able to play them. And you sure did that. Great. |

Thanks for all your replies...it means a lot.
I started years ago with a technics kn3000, then 5000 then 7000,then ,over through to PA1xpro then moved to M3 and now to Kronos...I moved on when I outgrow what the sequencer could do. It would have been far cheaper to learn how to use Logic!!!!!!!! But there is something 'real' about hardware sequencing that I have never got from a DAW...
Just shows each of us uses it differently
