I am trying to configure my axiom 49 to control the start and stop messages, but I am having trouble. I even hooked up my EMX to my computer via midi to go through midiox and discern what message is sent by the EMX for start and stop, but I got nothing!

I can set up all the other controls just fine through the CC but start/stop/pause/rec all elude me.

Hello narcoticrex,

The EMX wants System real-time messages for control of the start stop pause functions.
System Real-time messages differ from Continuous Controllers (CC#) and from MMC (MIDI Machine Control) which the Axiom is capable of sending.

According to the Axiom's MIDI implementation chart, it is not capable of sending system real-time messages.

thanks hanon, i thought thats what was happening, but was hoping against hope someone had sorted it. Thanks though!
