It's my attempt to reproduce the Van Halen 1984 sounds.
http://soundcloud.com/bsbsantos/bsbs1984
It is not as good this one:

I'm not a good programmer.
So, I am willing to share the PCG files here, and then maybe someone can improve it.
How do I attach a file here??
PS: I am aware that a played faster than the original. _________________ Bruno

I haven't heard them (am at work).
You cannot attach files here, you have to ask Sharp to add them or find yourself a location to store them and add a link here. _________________

IMO that sounds great, maybe lacks a small bit of the unstable analog feel to it compared to the original which is a bit more dirtier/grittier or how to say. But nevertheless it sounds very nice. Feel free to upload it to http://korgpatches.com/ (Click on submit in the menu) and after that you can share it with us _________________ - Download & share Korg keyboard patches for free.

This one really nails it.
I rarely use that sound, but it is fun to see it so well programmed! _________________ Kronos 73 - Moog Voyager RME - Moog LP TE - Behringer Model D - Prophet 6 - Roland Jupiter Xm - Rhodes Stage 73 Mk I - Elektron Analog Rytm MkII - Roland TR-6s - Cubase 12 Pro + Groove Agent 5 |

Thanks Cello but that pcg is for Jump. Im looking for program bsbsanto used to make the intro track before Jump called 1984....the title track. It has essentially two distinct sound layers. One is a distorted moog synth sound and the other are soft brassy pads.
I already snagged Dan from Germany's file you referenced and think that is well done. Much better than I was able to pull off although I am just getting started with these machines.
Cheers!

TJM | Just tried a search for "1984" on korgpatches and there seems to be few patches for that hidden inside the packages.
TIP: The searchfunction searches for the patch names inside the pcg (where I have added the patchlist) so it can be useful to find specific sounds if they have are named properly inside the pcg files _________________ - Download & share Korg keyboard patches for free.

Bruno | Thanks for the report, check your PM. I have not noticed any problems with the site myself and I'm unaware of any problems with the host currently, perhaps (and hopefully) it was a temporary bump in the road _________________ - Download & share Korg keyboard patches for free.
