Soundprism is nice concept - I havn't got usb connection kit yet so I tested it as controller just on ipad, but I think soundprism deserves a platform with touch pressure support - ios is not the best one for this. Hope for Roger Linn's development - LinnStrument. |

In Korg iKaossilator 2
http://www.korg.com/ikaossilator
New iPad app looks quite good.
Audio Export records and saves your performance, just as you heard it
iPad native support allows the iKaossilator to fill the iPad's large 9.7" screen
"SoundCloud" allows users to share and remix loops with other users worldwide
"AudioCopy" provides an easy way to copy audio data between musical instrument apps
Flex Play makes it easy to generate fills and breaks |

I'm having trouble getting audio from the Mac Mini to Apple TV wirelessly through iTunes or anything else.
Its supposed to work with Airplay enabled on the ATV and it does except it breaks up.
I've tried different pro optical cables from the ATV to my receiver. Tried different HDMI cables.
Whilst on the phone to support my password stopped working. Most strange. Had to reset that. I gave up on the support call due to the time constraints I had.
I tried using Airfoil app on the Mac and that does the same - audio breaks up on the ATV.
So yet to try the Korg Electribe iPad app but looking forward to that.
The Animoog app is simply awesome though. |

It was already mentioned Yamaha Keyboard Arp & Drum Pad. Just search appstore for "chords" and "Core Midi" perhaps Pianist Pro will also fit to your needs. |
From what I can tell from my limited use with the Yamaha Keyboard Arp and Drum Pad is that it does not transmit velocity when using the pads. At least the on-board Kronos pads do allow for velocity. The nanoPads offer a much better experience than hitting glass, IMO as does just triggering the chords from low notes on the keyboard.
