|

I have version 1.5 and i created 2 similar Combis and added them to Setlist. Now when i switch from the first Combi to the second i get a cutoff? Isnt it supposed to go smooth and not cutoff? Sometimes it works but more often it cuts off. Is this normal? I have like only 1 effect on both of the combis, its Overb.
Alittle dissapointed with the SST in kronos, it was one of the major factors for me in buying the Kronos. I like to be able to switch sounds up live since my songs require it alot. |

Try the factory Combis, and note that they work well with SST.
Perhaps you're using KARMA, whose notes will go into their release phase when you change sounds? This also applies to KARMA "Thru" zones.
This is described in the Operation Guide's section on SST:
Limitations
When you select a new sound, the previous sound’s KARMA and Drum Track patterns stop. Any notes being played by the Drum Track or KARMA (including those generated by KARMAʹs Thru In and Thru Out Zones) are released, and then decay normally.
Similarly, the PolysixEX arpeggiator stops playing on sound change.
When editing EXi Programs, changing the EXi model of the current Program will silence any voices from the previous sound. Note that this happens only when actually editing the Program, and not simply when changing from one Program to another.
Resource limitations may prevent the previous sound from ringing out until silence. For instance:
• Notes may be stolen.
• If there is not enough processing power for the old and new effects racks to coexist, both the old effects rack and all old voices will be silenced. _________________ Dan Phillips

Thanks for the replys. No im not using Karma, not that i know of anyways.
I created an INIT combi and added two of my own edited programs, one being a BELL sound and the other being a Strings sound, both the Bell and the String sound had their own O-verb effect and that is about it.
Then i took the same Combi and changed the Bell program to an Pad, so now it was a Pad with the same previous String sound. Then i took both Combis to setlist and there when i go from Combi 1 with the Bells and Strings to Combi 2 with the Pad and Strings , the first Combi just cuts off. It doesnt cut off all the time when i switch between the two, but it cuts off the majority of the time.
Is there something i may have done wrong in creating my two similar Combis? |
