Pulling my Kronos out for a gig on Friday night and the top of the vector joystick comes off in my hand!! I can set it back on the joystick post, but there seems to be no way to attach it. It won't screw back on and there doesn't seem to be any threads on the post.

Has this happened to anyone else? How is it supposed to attach? I could probably easily glue it to the post but I, of course, don't want to void my warranty. Yet should I hunt down an authorized service center over something as simple as this?

Tried to search the forum for others with similar issue, but search feature not working today.....

First problem I've had so far with this board. Sad

Yes, I beleive it happened to Robinhood. He just applied a small amount of glue and re-attached it, with no further problems. It is not threaded, just a slide fit (too loose in your case).

Re: the vector joy stick. . . . It is NOT spring loaded, right? It's supposed to stay where you put it?

Correct. I would have rather seen a KAOS pad there, but the vector joystick works well.

I assume Keywhiz61 is talking about the smaller of the two joysticks, the one that is not spring loaded, and it is the silver sleeve that has come off.

Yeah for sure and you're right: Robinhood also had this issue but I can't find the thread Wink

If anyone has this problem, please contact your Korg distributor; they should be able to help. I'd also be interested to know the serial numbers of any affected units.
