Korg T3.
My first professional workstation which I bought in 1991. The first and last one where I really had that wow effect. None keyboard to my knowledge had such a sound variety and quality back at that times.

Sani I totally agree. The T3 was a beautiful machine. My first workstation and I wish I still had it. Hard to believe it was over 20 years ago.

Sani, I also had a T3-ex, got it new and sold it about 2 years ago to help fund my Oasys. The keyboard was built like a tank and through all those years I never had one problem with it, the disk drive, or the screen display.
Probably it was my favorite of all of my former synths. Smile

Korg 01/W and Korg M1 those were the workstations I dreamed with when I just had some Casio keyboard (I was pretty young then) Laughing

The Triton Studio. At the time it came out I was all Ensoniq because of samples I use. I now have M3 And Triton Classic but often find myself browsing ebay looking at the TS. Just looks nice!!!

For me there are a few that I STILL want:

Matrix 12: Oh man do I have G.A.S. for THIS monster. Yes I know it only has 12 voices but those Oberheim voices are full of calories and really good for you in a bad way Smile

Kawai K5000: I have always been intrigued by additive synthesis after reading Wendy Carlos' interview in Keyboard mag extolling its virtues.

Roland Jupiter 8: Crazy story on this one: in 1992 I was a senior at Penn State. A friend of mine told me that he was sorry that he missed me because a friend of HIS had JUST sold a mint Jupiter 80 for 300.00 USD because his friend needed money to cover moving expenses. My friend hadn't realized what a great keyboard this was/is. Now I see them for 5000.00 USD on FleaBay and it just KILLS me.

Roland V-Synth: I have ALMOST pulled the trigger on a V-Synth. I asked Bruce Lychee about the GT and asked Sina about the XT. Both were helpful but I really am even more confused. Unlike Sina (no flame here) I am NOT blessed with the financial means to buy both, so I need to make a choice. Bruce summed it up nicely when he told me that each has its merits, but I get the sense from Bruce AND Sina that the XT and GT are almost two different beasts in much the same way as the Fantom X and Fantom G are. I am LEANING toward the XT. I saw one on FleaBay for 1599.00 USD

Finally ....

Roland Jupiter 80: For certain live gigs I want to use TWO boards and it seems that Jupiter 80 and Kronos would fit the bill perfectly. Saw a few NEW from a few retailers at 3100.00 USD but finances dictate I have to wait.

Thank heaven Kronos is DEEP so my G.A.S. can be abated for a while!

Ahimsa,
Vlad

It's the memorymoog for me as well. Had a very happy hour in Rose Morris playing with that.
The CS80 was one that I was interested in but then I got a chance to fiddle with one in a rehearsal room whilst waiting for the rest of the band to turn up, half hour later and I still hadn't managed to get a sound out of it Embarassed

A semi modular analogue system with the French touch: le RSF KOBOL (remember Jean-Michel Jarre's concerts in China):

And a POLYKOBOL would be nice to have too :

The Polymoog. Although it had a lot of problems, it had a very unique sound that I have not found on any synth since. It can be heard all over Return To Forever's Romantic Warrior album.
