Why do the searches I perform always seem to come up with results that have no relevance to my search. I tried "Setlist" in the Kronos forum (among other things) and it looks like it is returning everything ever posted in the Kronos forum. Am I missing a step. I consider myself computer savy enough to use a search engine. What gives. It would keep me from making unnecessary posts.

94 results is hardly "everything ever posted in the Kronos forum". But it is a lot.

I guess the search engine is only basic. Unlike Google, it doesn't sort by relevance or hits or anything like that. It will return every post that has your search term(s) in it.
also adding further words actually increases the search scope, not restricts it, because each word is actually ORed instead of ANDed. you can probably override this by specifically using AND, but I haven't tried it.
make sure you tick "search for All terms entered".
also remember if you are looking for a specific set of words in that order then to "quote" it.

For now, you could try this:
http://www.google.com/?sitesearch=korgforums.com
see if it yields any better results

Yes 94 results is a lot if you are talking about topics. Some topics have multiple replies, so seaching x number of threads in each topic can be time consuming. Some people have a tendency to get off the topic, and neglect to start a new topic. You can see the obvious dilemna. Heck, I just wanna play music, not do a global search. Oh well, I guess this
