Now that it is released, can we get a sticky for things we would like to see in a future OS update?
1. Transfer data (samples, files, folders, etc) over USB to Mac/PC
2. Playhead marker in Sample Edit, Loop Edit, and Track Edit
3. Zoom In/Out in Track Edit
4. Sample Slice (Divide) into Equal Regions (Time Slice/Time Stretch)
5. "Latch" [Enter] button for use in Sample Edit/Loop Edit
6. Key plays edit range
7. Option to "LINK" Sample Start Point and Loop Start Point
8. Sample Edit: Add Pitch Shift (change pitch without changing tempo)
9. UNDO/REDO Last Edit
10. Grid (Sequencer) Recording and Editing _________________ Tool box: Kronos 61, Fantom FA06, ASR-10, MPCX, MPC Live, and MPC 4000. |

I'm afraid the screen size can't be fixed easily with an OS update. |

Sorry, I had missed "fixed with an OS update" and thought it was the wish list for the next generation of Kronos.
If they make the fonts bigger, then more pages will be needed, which will lead to complaints about too many pages. So, round and round and round we go. |

I think if you had a Global Setting to just change the "Zoom Level" like on PCs..100%, 125% etc, it wouldnt be that difficult for a software programmer. Maybe they would have to add a scrollbar though or update the display driver. |

10. Grid (Sequencer) Recording and Editing |
....and I continue:
11. Full program edit access in Combi and Seq Mode. (Yamaha's SY77 from 1989 can do this!!!) Because otherwise you cannot manipulate a MS20 or Polysix-Program with the virtual knobs on its beautiful graphic interface or any other EXi or HD1 program parameter, because there is no direct access to them, while working in Sequencer and Combination-Mode.
12. Drum Program editing in Program-, Combi- and Seq-Mode not like now only in Global Mode. The same for wave sequences.
13. Effect Send for individual Drumsounds adjustable in Program-, Combi- and Seq-Mode and not like now only in Global Mode.
14. Flexible storing of Programs into Banks, not like now, just either EXi or HD1 for a whole Bank.
15. More Program slots due to the many EXi's that are meanwhile available.
16. Get rid of the GM Sounds
17. Touchscreen editing like on the PA800 and M3-Xpanded: Touch a parameter and change its value by moving the finger on the screen, which doesn't work on the KRONOS.
18. Velocity-Meters (Midi and Audio) for each track in Seq-Mode and in Combi-Mode or at least an indication which part or track actually is sounding.
19. Sequencer editing possibilities and user interface of the M3-Xpanded Sequencer.

Nice idea, guess i'll add onto this too
My most needed features:
21. CUE LISTS - please bring them back! or at least add the functionality found in the 01/W, X, and N-series where you select "Next Song... and then Stop or Play."
22. PRV, Track View, SysEx MIDI event editing ... basically all those super cool upgrades to the M3...
23. Make I-G a writable bank. The GM bank is my most unused bank on any of my workstations
BTW in #9, isn't that what "COMPARE" is? _________________ Korg Kronos-61, 01/Wfd, SONAR Pro |

Those will never happen. Korg would have to re-do a number of screens if they increased the font size. |

If anyone needs glasses it is the touchscreen programmer and designer, because they obviously cant see viewing angles... font or icon sizes! My 8c...
Yeah I know.. dont buy it and.... it is what it is...or it would have cost too much to correct.. |
