|
|
I've noticed some issues when recording DS-10+ songs from my DSi XL (As well as DS Lite) to my computer via a simple stereo line-in cord. I read somewhere that there were bass output issues, which could be it, but I'm not sure.
Usually it's only one of the sounds I'm using but if it goes for more than one step it'll cut out and not be as full, is the only way I can describe it. I don't really know enough about the technicalities of sound and the patches and settings I'm using to really know what's going on. It sounds fine played through the speakers of the DS, or even played through an external amp, just not when recorded to a computer.
I was just wondering if anyone has been experiencing any major sound quality issues or knows of issues.
My current fix is to just edit the synth that's causing problems, but that generally changes the song altogether. |

Hah, excellent question. Looks like I didn't have the proper Audio driver installed; must've missed that when I installed Win7.
Thanks, I should've figured it was a problem with my computer >_> |

Did it work out or do you still have the noise? |
