|
|
Bought a Korg DW 6000, on ebay, had no patches which I had to load (thanks to all the people on this forum for their help!) and the guy who sold it said it had many moog bass sounds, which it doesn't. I figure I can use it as a MIDI controller for a softsynth. I can't afford to buy one so I'm basically looking for freeware. I'm hoping to get one one that can give me fat funky or even growling basslines that sound fairly tight. If you know of any please recommend! Help is appreciated. |

Hi Funkymunk,
Not sure if this will be of interest to you but I kinda like it.

Failing that KVR have loads of free VST's Bass plugins.
Cheers.

Logic's ES2 soft synth works great for bass.
Over on the left, in the inspector, you can click and choose or option-click and choose from tons of preset channel strip settings to munk with the sound for fun. You can get lost in there for days. |
