|
|
Hi, I was attempting to reset my Korg i3 to factory settings by holding down the Arr Play and Edit Style buttons together while powering up, the system did a RAM check and displayed the message Error: No Card.
This suggests to me that there is no RAM memory available.
I had also previously attempted to load backing arrangements from a disk provided with my keyboard (not an original disk) and got the message, Unable to write to protected RAM.
I also cannot activate Button C for 'Preset'
Does anyone know if there are any user changeable settings that may be preventing me from accessing the RAM or is it most likely that the RAM is damaged or missing or is it a discharged backup battery issue?
Has anyone ever replaced the RAM in their machine ?
Any advice either practical or where to obtain information would be greatly appreciated. |
