Nice stuff Andreas. And VERY well recorded. And thanks again for leading me to the Wavestation downloads! Having all 150 RAM banks restored after 9 or 10 years will be a real blast!
I might just have to start using my old SR more!
Best regards,

Thanks DH 56 for listening to one of my songs.
But as a Oasys-user, do you really need the WS-SR anymore?
The Oasys has the advanced vectorsynthesis, which the WS didnīt have. _________________ Andreas

You're most welcome Andreas. I actually listened to several since it reminded me of some of the ambient dub compilations on Waveform Records.
I suppose I could do some of the wavesequencing on the OASYS, but I don't think I could do without my beloved "Alien Vibraslap!"
The main part of the song is from the 'Outsider' patch on the V-Synth, but people always ask "what is that wierd sound that comes in at 1:24? "Why, that's the old alien vibraslap" says I!

I also have a lot of the sound cards and sound card sets for the SR that I still use. I made a vow to never sell any more of my classic synths because I always end up missing them!
Regards,

I heard your "alien fire dance". Itīs a great piece of music and I like all the sounds very much. The V-Synth seems to bee a great synth. I think itīs much underrated at the moment.
Thanks for sharing.
And I will look out for the alien-patch in my WS. Didnīt use it yet.
Do you know that there are a lot of other patches for the three RAM-Banks?

Oh wow, I really enjoyed that. It reminded me of Amiga MODs I used to listen to in the early 90s. The song's subtleties makes me wish you called it "Hold me light". I mean, it washes/tickles more than it grips.
This is going into my "healing" playlist on my iPod! |
