Sounds are only going to be as realistic as the person's skill and ability to effectively mix them. With orchestra type sounds, it comes down to two very important words, articulation and dynamics. If you don't understand these words or know how they are implemented in a mix, you shouldn't buy Goliath. EW products sounds are amazing, but without the proper know how, you'll be scratching your head and wondering why you can't get the same sound. Now if all you need is a solo trombone to play by itself, the mix will be siognificantly easier. Hope this helps. _________________ And there was this one time at band camp...... |

yes there is.
Why was this post moved from Softsynths to the Oasys section? Goliath is a softsynth product and has nothing to do with an Oasys according to my understanding. _________________ And there was this one time at band camp...... |

I don't think if Golathis the answer to your need. You need the orchestral package. I have collosus which fathered Goliath, but they can't stand on their own when it comes to orchestral instruments. You would always need to layer them with something else _________________ Sam
