hi. was wondering if any one cna share their experiences recording their tritonle/Extreme for the above genres.
one prob i face is that my combis are easily lost among the heavy bass and guitar riffs. i try to compensate with higher end patches i.e pads layer with sine leads and bells for gothic ambient stuff, but some of the magic tend to be lost .
i am not the recording technician, i only record direct line in.
some plp suggusted using midi recording first(what does that mean??) , then tweak the patches later...but wun this reduce the "power: of my combis...? i.e say the effects that make the patch work like delay or compresser will be lost...
sorry total newbie here..hope u experts know what i am saying.....i dun want all the efforts for my customised combis to be lost in the mix! |
