Man, I have been posting this in all the wrong places!! Hopefully someone here can help. I have a question about the Korg T3, but T1 or T2 users might be able to help.
I want to take advantage of the 2 stereo outputs in the back of the unit. In a Combo mode, I want drums to come out stereo 1L & 2R, and piano out of 3 & 4. I've tried the pans C&D etc, but when it goes into my recorder (aw16g) the sounds are not separated. How are you supposed to assign a voices to these outputs? Is this even possible? If not, why are there 4 outputs on the back? Thanks |

Hi there, if my memory serves right, you should pan the drum sounds from within the drum kit editor section, in global mode.

Thanks for your response but that's not it. I need the four outputs of the T3 to go into four separate inputs of the digital recorder. For example:
Stereo piano coming out of the T3 onto tracks 1 & 2 of the recorder.
Bass coming out of the T3 via output 3 going onto track 3 of recorder.
Slap bass out T3 via output 4 going onto track 4 of recorder.
The problem is assigning outputs to the instruments. No matter how I assign them (a, b, c, d, c+d, etc) all the instruments can still be heard on tracks 1 & 2 of the recorder. Maybe none of this is even possible! |
