Check out the table in the middle of this page :

http://www.roland.co.jp/news/0377.html

... it's the forecasted sales of 61/76/88 key Fantom G's for the year.

Planned sale of the first year (including overseas domestic)
Fantom-G6 = 10,000 units
Fantom-G7 = 7,000 units
Fantom-G8 = 7,000 units

Daz.

That good or bad ? Actually never knew what "regular" sales amount of a synth is.

Maybe a comparison with M3 serials might be interesting as the year goes on ?

subtract 20% from $70,500,000

Oh, I will calculate it.

make sure your VISA has at least a $56,400,000 credit limit

No problem!

There is NO WAY Roland will hit those numbers!! Specially with the Kurzweil PC3X hitting the streets !! which by the way SMASHES anything Roland Sound Quality wise!! It really depends on the customer! Most people that will buy this board already have a studio running a Computer setup! They are NOT going to use the functions of this board that sets it apart from the rest of the workstations! I can honestly call this a POOR mans Oasys Without the sounds! Rolling Eyes IMO Wink

kerzwhile, your name gives you away as a fanboy lol! i heard the pc3x and it sounds good, but still outdated with old sounds, and no sampling at all (for vocal stabs, etc). kurzweil's interface is soooo outdated, look at roland's interface...lol...way ahead.

i hope kurzweil shuts down..just kidding...but boy i am incensed with their promise of VA1 which was never delivered
