Ok so I really like Korg products. I currently have the M3 and do not using the X-Y touch screen. Should I purchase the Kaoss 3 to perform the effects or Kaossilator? Or could both of them work in tandem?

I need some help here.

Secondly, can I record on the K3 independently?

The Kaossilator doesn't do effects I don't think. The Kaossilator is a touchscreen synth. If you want to do only FX and you like cute things, then you should pick the mini KP.

Don't buy the KP3 if you expect to record with it.
