hi everyone, i'm Damij. thought i would introduce myself
i've been into electronic music for years and have just recently started making progress toward building my home studio. after purchasing and playing around with a roland mc 808, i decided i needed something else with a little more "bite" to it. something that would help fill in the spaces the roland was lacking. after a bit of searching and studying, i decided on the emx-1 and so far i'm sort of happy with it, other than the fact that i can't get any decent sounds out of it.
i'm fairly well-versed in the software work environment but i'm a total newb when it comes to Korg and MMT synthesis, which is how i found this place.
and as such, i shall now scour these boards for tips, hints, tricks, etc to try to flesh out my sounds a little better on this machine that i'm sure will prove to be my favorite...at least until they make some music hardware that has waffle or candy storage compartments!
