|
|
Hello. I'm new here. Sorry if this has been discussed before.
I just got myself a padkontrol and i'm currently running it with Ableton Live 5. The roll and flam work fine. My question is, how do I control the graph in the effects (for example, Chorus has Amount & Rate) using the X-Y pad of the padkontrol?
Do I need to transmit the Live preload in Librarian? In my case, doing so caused all the pads to lit and none of them working.
Thanks for any reply! |

Okay I figured that I need to set CCs and assign them to the x-y pad. How do I set the CCs. I mean, how do I know what number to set in order to control the parameters.
Any help? Come on. |

I'm at work but can't test but i believe i managed it by going into midi map and selecting the x and y axis of the grid individually and then running my finger across the horizontal (using the bottom of the pad as a guide) and the vertical (using the side) to map them.
I then went into the menu whilst still in midi map to adjust the range in which it would transmit, is this what your looking to do?
Cheers
