Is this released yet? Its GPL, where's the source code? I run linux and building this app would be trivial for me.

Hi!

I'm Win and Mac user, not yet Linux.
I hope the sourcecode will be built under Win or Mac, too.

regards

I subscribe to linux-audio-user@lists.linuxaudio.org where I posted this "news" and got this response:

"fyi: qranger is a spiced up fork of qtractor [1], specially fitted to the
mediastation as a performance style arranger. the fork has been outsourced
by lionstracs, with my blessing.

afaik, qranger is not in release form yet; qtractor is Wink

[1] http://qtractor.sourceforge.net

cheers

That's kool, good luck! In the meantime I'll check out qtractor.

really, really poor english. have you been to the website? the language is barely readable. that's why i will never take lionstracs seriously, because they have to get their basics together before selling such a product.

i would put much more of my faith in openlabs! Smile

well, now I have the Mediastation from about one month, made about 20 gig's with my band and no problems at all.
The system for the sounds is very stable, arranger escluded, styles are not acceptable.
I have also update the OS with the new Qtractor 0.1.0 and this engine is really Easy and amazing!

I have request information about this qranger from lionstracs, but seem that they will release the next week, some problems of QT code integration.

I'm really impatient to get this qranger update!

I have also tested the Openlabs on Musikstore.de ... com on guys...this is only a crappy windows case keyboard! Cost a LOT of money and the all application, sounds, setups and so on we have to use the trackball and PS2 keyboard.
You play the sounds and you are not able to play the sequencer...
One application at time....com on..under this way I will buy one standard PC laptop and the same brainsan software for 99 dollars!
remember also that Oplenlabs can never install one arranger, because they dont have the all bottom pannels for manage it.

Regards
Gamper
